"I will like to acqurie technical knowledge through a vocational school, if I received this cash transfer. I felt from a palm tree 4 years ago. With this, I am unable to do any physical work. Due to lack of support from our polygamous father, many of us (the kids) didn't acquire formal education. Sustainably, the technical knowledge will prepare me for the many life's challenges and creat a better future for me and my family. This could be a smart opportunity to develop myself as per my desire that due to lack of financial support couldn't be met for so many years." (Occupation: Motorcycle or bicycle taxi)

"I am presently living in someone's house. Though I am treated fine here but I want my family to be in a secure area than being here where people interfere with my activities. When I receive this transfer, I will build a house for my family so that I can have my privacy and a place to also help me train my children. I am a motorbike rider but I don't have the opportunity to buy a motorbike so my friend gives me his motorbike at the end of the day to run so that I can get something to sustain my family. So when I receive this money and build a house, I will then round up the balance to buy a second-hand motorbike. The money I will be making from the motorbike riding can be used to provide food and other things for my family." (Occupation: Motorcycle or bicycle taxi)

"The major challenge for me here is how to raise money to do those things I mentioned earlier. As I said before, I am riding bike supporting the home, and saving some cash from the riding to be able to invest into business. But the bike riding is not giving me more money like before because I have Changed location as it relates to where I ride the bike - instead of riding in Monrovia and its environs , I am now riding in the communities around here. And that is not earning me money like before." (Occupation: Motorcycle or bicycle taxi)

"Food insecurity is a big challenge in my house. My husband is unemployed and getting the daily bread is a big problem and sometimes I have to go to bed without food. Dressing and attending medical cases is a big problem in my house and also getting water for drinking is currently the biggest challenge because there is no water in the nearby water pans and getting water for drinking needs to hire motorcycle operators which cost 100 KES for a 20 liters jerican."

"Getting food and fresh water for drinking is the biggest challenge I am expiriencing.. We are expiriencing drought spell for over 3 years now and all the water pans have dried. I depend on the business of charcoal burning inorder to put food in the table. There's is no water in our area and we have to hire motorcycle operators to bring water from a distance of 10 kilometres. It costs 100 KES for a 20 litres jerican of water which is very expensive to me because the job I depend on does not give me much than getting a packet of maize flour and it is also very straneous . Sometimes I end up getting food but still goes to bed hungry because of luck of water to cook the food."

"Having a decent and spacious kitchen had been my desire since I did not have one and when I received my transfer, I spent KES 25000 on the purchase of a doorframe, two pieces of windows, enough poles, and 15 pieces of iron sheets. I am happy that the construction has already started and I will be able to start using my new kitchen very soon. In addition to this, I spent KES 10000 to pay school fees for my daughter who is in secondary school to avoid her being sent back home and spent KES 13000 on medical expenses for my son who had been involved in a motorcycle accident and I am happy that he was able to get the needed treatment. Using the remaining KES 6000, I bought one sack of maize and other foodstuffs for my family."
