Faith
received a $521 second payment.
"My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that, I have a dairy cow which I bought using the transfer. My family now have enough milk for use and also I sell some at the shopping center near home. The income I get from the sales of milk helps me to meet other basic household needs and even pay part of the school fees for my children in various school. Before I could do casual jobs in the village and the small I could get was not enough for the basic needs and even to buy a dairy cow. So I used to buy milk of which it was very costly for me."

Eunice
received a $22 sixteenth payment.
"I expect to buy more goats in the near future which I know will eventually give birth to more offspring as time goes by. The good thing about it is that when the population of the livestock increases, I will then have an opportunity of selling out some of them and then buying a cow instead. The advantage of buying a cow is that it is able to provide more milk than a goat and of course if I sell out its calves I will be able to get more money than when I sell a goat."

Kristina
received a $22 sixteenth payment.
"In the next six months, I expect my life to change in that I will have started rearing animals and do poultry farming at the same time. This projects will be beneficial to me because they are both in high demand and they can all survive in this village without any special care. I will feel secure because whenever I will have an urgent need for money, I will sell some to take care of the emergencies that will arise."

Hellen
received a $464 initial payment.
"I am filled with joy that the cash transfer is facilitating the construction of our two roomed house which had stalled for over two years. Secondly, we now dress well and decently compared to before when we could dress in tattered clothes.
In the past, I had to depend entirely on agriculture to sustain the family. This was not profitable and it would have taken me more two years to complete the house."

Loise
received a $49 eighth payment.
"My biggest goal at the moment is to complete the payment on the Money Agent shop I purchased from my friend before I can focus on any other additional goals. What I would love to do after clearing the payment is to use the transfers to expand the business by bringing in more money services such as becoming an agent for the local banks for more income."
