"I live in a small parcel of land which I bought some few months ago. This land is inadequate for me to live and at the same time carry out my farming. Now, receiving this money means I'll be able to add the size of my farm so as to increase the acreage under cultivation. Furthermore, I'll be able to plant crops for both subsistence and commercial use."

"I have been experiencing lots of challenges from my poultry farming business both internally and externally. This is because they are on a free-range system and therefore are being eaten on a regular basis by predators. Moreover, they also cause destruction of people's crops on their farm and I have been having perennial quarrels with my immediate neighbours. I had almost given up my passion of one day being a large scale poultry farmer making this the biggest hardship I have ever experienced. "

"I live in a small piece of land which limits my agricultural activities.I am therefore planning to buy a small piece of land when I receive this money. This will help me buy a dairy cow which I do not have for now.I will plant feeds in a small part of the land to feed the cow.I will therefore save the cost of buying milk for my children.I am also planning to plant vegetables to save food costs."

"Paying school fees is usually an uphill task in a home where the major source of income is casual labour, an example of which is collecting firewood in a nearby government forest and delivering them in kind for my children's education. Receiving this money will pardon me from this illegal business and enable me pay my children's school fees upfront through to next year. I believe if majority of my neighbors would think and act the same, it would be a collective resolve to mitigate deforestation and positively impact the ecosystem. "

"Being a shopkeeper, I have a dream of owning a shop that will change my financial status. I have enough experience and I will be able to manage it smoothly. To achieve this, I will first invest in goat and chicken rearing projects. These will provide returns within a short period and I will use the profit to open the shop. I will also purchase oxen to scale up farming and also hire them at a fee. "

"My expectation in the near future is to finish putting up a retail business that is already ongoing. I have always wanted an alternative source of income to add to the income I get from farming. The main aim of this is to ensure that I have adequate funds exhaustively provide for my family and improve our living standards. I want something that will act as a backup plan for my finances since farming can be unpredictable due to the unstable weather patterns."

"I feel very bad that every time my husband comes home to visit our three children have to sleep in my neighbor's house because we only have one bed and mattress that we all share. I am grateful that with my transfers, I will be able to get them their own beddings and thus won't have to share space with the neighbors anymore. I also plan to do repairs to our current house because the roof leaks a lot during rainy seasons and my children are still young, wouldn't want them to catch diseases. "
