"The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I was in position to pay my children's school fees in time that has given me a peace of mind and enough time to look for next term's school fees. Further more, I was enable to seek proper medical treatment for my swollen legs and I am now much better than before when I couldn't walk on my own."

"I am a single mum still having two kids who are schooling. One is in secondary level while the other is in primary level. With no job/regular source of income, fending for them has been an uphill task for me. I made a promise to myself to ensure that I see all of them through their education plans and that promise is still alive. Paying their school fee has never been an easy task for me since I solely rely on proceeds from my small piece of farm to do this. Sometimes I take some produce to school as part of school fee payment but its still not enough to fully cater for their other necessities."

"I used to be a tea picker in one of our leading tea factory in our nearby town. The salary I used to get was initially satisfying the needs of my family until the tea picking machines were introduced by the factory owners. This led to massive trimming of staff and I was unfortunate to be among those rendered jobless. I had no option but to return back home and start temporary casual jobs on people's farms. Life has been so tough since then but I live with the hope that one day everything will return to normalcy."

"I used to own a cereals business in the nearby market centre some years back to an extend of going around during market days and selling the cereal products to people. Due to my dependency on the proceeds from the business to sustain my ever growing needs especially school fees to my kids, food for my family and other expenses, the stock started to reduce. This is because my expenses exceeded my returns from the business and after some few months, I closed down the business and stayed at home while doing some casual jobs on people's farm so as to cater for my family. Life has been difficult since then and I hope and pray that one day I will restart my cereal business once more."

"When I receive my first $550, I have planned to install a 3,000 litre capacity water tank worth $250 and a heifer for $180. The water tank will solve a water crisis that has seen me waste so much time everyday going to water pans in long distances which in any case is not clean and safe for use in the household."
