"The biggest difference in my daily life that I will always be proud to mention is the fact that I now have goats that I am currently rearing in my homestead. Previously I had non of them though my dream was to own even a single bit because of the financial difficulties I could not afford it. I settled for goats because according to my understanding is that, they reproduce twice a year and their offspring normally mature faster. Therefore I am positive very soon they will multiply which I will achieve a lot through them. Also, Since my spouse is the family breadwinner with a low income, the goats will empower us to raise fees for our seven children who will soon transition to secondary schools. Also, I will no longer strain that much in providing for my family's needs like before. Besides should there be an emergency, I will be in a position to sell one or two goats and sort out the matter."

"The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I am a farmer and a casual labourer, we all depend on our small farm to feed my family which is barely enough, so when I received my transfer I thought of a project that was favourable and sustainable,I decided to buy a dairy cow worth KES 28,000 of which am hopeful that I will be able to earn an income out of it,I also started a Poultry project , with this project I believe I will have enough to cater for our daily needs. Thanks for the support because it improved my living standards."

"When I received my transfer I knew that this was my opportunity to buy a dairy cow that I have been longing for, I am a farmer and casual labour, I cannot afford to buy a cow with my little income which we all depend on, therefore the transfer made it easier for me, I also bought a solar light for lighting because we don't have electricity in our village."

"The biggest hardship has been a lack of finances. I'm a casual laborer earning at most Ksh 2400 per month. This can barely meet the needs of my family. It goes to food and other basic needs leaving me with nothing to cater for other needs."

"I am someone who never went far with education and in my family the highest to have ever gone to school and finish a higher class is my brother who dropped out in standard 8. This has made life tough for us as we lack options to earn some money and make our loves better. As a result we end up marrying and bearing children who in turn are now lacking. The biggest hardship in my life has been the lack of opportunity to go far with education as the schools are very far. The situation has not changed since same schools are where my kids are going and I doubt they will ever finish higher than me."

"It's been in my plans to buy two dairy cows, that will help feed my young family and also as a source of income, selling surplus milk produced. Being subsistence farmers, crops cannot be depended on since we don't produce much hence the dairy cows will come in handy being an alternative source of income. This will cost me ksh 60000. For the remaining amount, I plan to build a bigger house that will act as a sitting room and bedrooms. I will convert the current sitting room to be the kitchen. The current kitchen is quite small and it floods inside during rainy seasons making it not conducive for my family."
