"Receiving this money means a better housing for me and my family. My current house is small and doubles up as kitchen and bedroom. It also gets smoky and really hot especially when making meals which is uncomfortable for all of us. I would like to build an iron sheet house that will act as the Main house and will accommodate visitors when they visit. This will cost me about Ksh50,000. The remaining amount I'll purchase a dairy cow, furniture and beddings for the new house."

"I want to build a better and bigger kitchen in my homestead. The one we currently use is small and it rains inside making it difficult to cook there on rainy seasons. Receiving this money will mean a lot to me, because I will be able to build a bigger iron roofed kitchen amounting to $300 that will serve as an extra room for when we have guests. The remaining transfer will be used as follows: $300 for a dairy cow,$200 for food and clothing and $100 as savings."

We use about $1.5 on milk per month, my wife is a stay at home mum and quite old, so she can not support in working and bringing extra income to the household. That is why when I receive this transfer I will use most of it amounting to $1000 in purchasing 4 dairy cows.Milk produced will be for home consumption and we can sell the remaining milk to generate extra income. The remaining $100 will be used in buying farm seeds, clothes and food for the family."

"My life is different than what is was before because before I used to work so hard and still not manage to make enough for my family so that used to drain me a lot as a provider knowing that my hard work is not enough. Now with these transfers I can buy enough food and my hard earned money can be used for other things around the house."

"In my opinion GD is working just fine nothing that I can contribute there. Just hope that GOd blesses you and lets you continue doing what you are doing for people who are in need. I already see the change that is being made around the village so that is evidence enough that you are doing a great job."
