How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than what is was before because before I used to work so hard and still not manage to make enough for my family so that used to drain me a lot as a provider knowing that my hard work is not enough. Now with these transfers I can buy enough food and my hard earned money can be used for other things around the house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD is doing a great job I can not imagine them not doing anything well because they have not any changed my life but the life of everybody in the village. We are so happy, what they are doing well is that have brought happiness and development into the village.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have spent my transfers on buying construction materials because I am preparing to build a house. Also managed to buy fertilizer and food. Now all I have to do is actually start building the house thats what I am busy with at the moment.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have received this program with gratitude. I have been desiring to build a house and this is my chance to have one. I have also been struggling to buy farm inputs such as fertilizer, hoes and seeds which has led to low food production over the years. Now I will be able to buy more farm inputs and increase maize production. I will also be able to buy matresses, beddings and kitchen utensils.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy when I have enough food.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main challenge here is lack of farm inputs which lead to low food production and constant hunger.
