"In the next six months, I expect to have constructed a new house for my children. They are currently living in a house which is in bad condition and is almost collapsing. This would at least improve my happiness since we would be having a clean home with more space in the house for my children to read and sleep. We are praying to God that all our plans to establish that new house will go through."

"My son's barbershop business is doing so well, however, much of his returns go into paying rent for the place he has rented. We have decided to use part of the transfers to build his own place of business to save up what goes into rent and employ two more staff to help him out. The rest of the transfers will be used to purchase livestock in form of cows and goats that will ensure his brothers and sisters' education is catered for. This will help us attain our goal of financial freedom. "

"In the next six months, I expect my life to be much better. This is because I will be enjoying higher income from the sale of the farm products (potatoes and cabbages) that I will have planted and harvested from the leased farm. Besides, I will have completed planting tea in my farm. Thus, I will be more confident with regards to supporting my children as they pursue their studies. I will be having reliable sources of sufficient funds to be used in paying school fees and financing other necessary projects."

"Receiving this money means financial break through for my family and restoration of my self worth and pride before the society. Ever since I underwent an unsuccessful kidney operation eight years ago,I have been rendered useless and incapable of doing strenuous jobs to get money to take care of my family. I have had to contend with relying on relatives for support and this has not been very helpful. For a long time, I have wished to revive my shop business that collapsed when I use all the capital to facilitate my operation because I know it will not be too strenuous to manage, but I have not been able to due to limited finances. So many in the society look down on me as the man who is not able to take care of his family and this pains me a lot because it is not by my doing. However, with this money, I see a chance of realizing my dream because I already have the experience, site and now even the finances to set up the shop within my village. After a very long time,I will finally be able to earn my money and also gain independence from relying on my relatives thus gaining back my self respect and worth."

"My goal that I did not have before receiving the transfer is to start a new business where I sell milk. Currently I am depending on a small business where we sell milk with a friend and share the profit from the business at the end of the day. At times I do casual jobs to meet my basic needs. The income from the business and casual jobs is not enough to buy food. Starting my own business will therefore be a source of income to cater for my basic needs since I do not share the profit with anybody. I will therefore save part of the income from the business in table banking and I will use it to pay my school fees."
