"The biggest hardship that I am faced with is lack of money.
I have a very small piece of land which does not sustain my family well.
At the same time, I am too poor to buy more that would supplement on what is available for use.
In my condition as a widow, I do casual labour to find atleast something to eat. I can not save anything because what I am able to earn is usually little.
I am left wondering how my future and that of my son will look like.
Sometimes I am forced to think that may be life would be better if I had a man in my life."

"The biggest hardship that I am faced with is poverty. I have only every small portion of land to cultivate and as such, I am not able to produce enough food that can sustain my family.
This in most cases has resulted in food shortage.
It is also common for me and my husband to do casual labour so as to earn some money that can support in providing for the family.

"I will have to build a house. In the next six months, I expect to be living a better life than my current life in that I will have built a house. I currently live in one house hence forcing to always sent my daughters to my mother's house to spend their nights there. This a habit that has made me look down upon myself in that I see to be failing as a parent by not giving my children shelter and also endangering them during the night as they move to my parents home. I expect to see my family around full time in the next six months and also give my children humble time and place to read and live in and this will always be my happiness."

"In the next six months of my life, I expect to have constructed my own compound. I find it so challenging to stay in my parents-in-law's house and I believe once I move to my home I'll have the freedom to achieve a lot of things that I can't achieve currently."
