"My life's biggest difference is being able to get back my piece of farm land that would not be possible had I not got this transfer. This will now help me to increase the production of food. Prior to getting this farm land, my family being big and the place I was farming on very limited, it was difficult to make ends meet. My family always suffered of famine because the food crops were not enough to sustain it."

"It had always been my dream to own a cow but I had not been able to achieve this due to financial constraints. Apart from the milk that I will be getting from this cow, my family will also have respect that everyone owning it in our community is given as it is an asset that is highly valued. Even though I still buy milk at the moment, I believe that this will end soon when it reproduces."

"The biggest hardship I face is lack of a clear source of income. I depend on farming but it is not reliable. Having access to disposable income is twice a year and that is based on the season. In seasons of good harvest, I have disposable income and in seasons of poor harvest, I do not have enough disposable income."

"The biggest hardship that I am faced with is lack of money to provide for my family. There is no clear source of income for my household and yet I have a lot of responsibility ranging from treatment, school fees and all others. I sell off the little agricultural harvest that I am able to get in order to raise money that I use to provide for the family.
This in most cases has caused food shortage in my home."

"Receiving this money means a financial stable home for us. First I plan to complete my tailoring course and buy a sewing machine so I can start making some income. I also want to start a grocery shop alongside the tailoring business in order to make extra income that will help us even build a better and bigger house. With the rest, I will support my husband's secondary education by paying part of his school fees. "

"Food insecurity has been a big challenge in my life. I am only depending on the old ways of farming which are characterized by a poor harvest. This has forced me to resort to hiring oxen from a neighbor which is very expensive and hard to get during the cultivation period, something that has led to constantly skipping meals as I can hardly afford a meal per day. watching my children crying every morning as a result of lack of enough food has eaten away my joy in life. Therefore, I consider the lack of adequate financial resources as my biggest hardship."
