"The biggest hardship that I face is that of not having a stable source of income. Beacuse of this they have been days when I have no money to buy food and as such my family have at times slept without meals."

"The program is of great importance to me. I have been really struggling to make things work at my house. As you can see, i am living in a very small house. The program will help me build a big house which can accommodate all of us.Nyumba, kugona movutika. I will also be able to buy kitchen utensils. The remaining amount will be used to buy food."

"I have welcomed the program and am very happy to be part of it. I will be able to renovate my house. The house leaks heavily during this rainy season. I will also be able to buy enough food. We really struggle making both ends meet and most of the times we go on an empty stomach."

"I separated with my husband 12 years ago when I discovered that our marriage was not working. I got married when I was only 15 years old and we knew little about marriage. I decided to go back to my parents who welcomed me back but in the last year 2019 I decided to be independent. Since I don't have job, I have struggled to make ends meet. sometimes I don't afford a meal for my children and I don't have anybody to help. I thank God that GD transfers are here, I will use them to stock food that can last us for some months. The other thing I will do is to pay school fees for my child who is joining high school next year."
