"I am glad that I finally made the biggest difference not only in my life but also in my son's life after the complete construction of their new house. The evening rush to ensure that they secure a place to sleep in the neighbor's place is no more as they now have a good house where they can conduct their evening studies before they get to bed. I am grateful that this happened to us as it has been my wish for a long time."

"Three years ago, I was a known drunkard in our village after losing the job I had been for almost 7 years. Due to the frustrations I had, I found myself deep into the locally brewed alcohol that I would struggle to get at least KES200 from the casual labor and drink every single coin before the day ends. I am glad that I managed to stop the habit when I realized that I was losing much more than I was gaining. On receiving this transfer, I decided to spend KES50000 on obtaining five bullocks each at KES 10000. This is a project I had been hoping to start in that I will be fattening them and selling them out after few years with a big profit margin. I already have milk-producing cows within the farm and I never saw a need to add more but instead did that investment as it is easier with the available ranges that are best suited for grazing. With the remaining KES 4000, my wife had to use it in obtaining clothing for the children and some that she also needed. We are all glad that we have a running project and we are hopeful that we will see it work for us soon."

"With my family of seven, we had been living in a small house built long ago and were getting older every day. I had constructed it on a piece of land close to the river and had been so problematic during rainy seasons. The surrounding would hold water creating a swampy environment right at my doorstep. This had not been healthy for my family especially the young ones due to mosquito infestation and also lack of dry space to play outdoor. On receiving the transfer, I decided to demolish the old structure and moved it a little further to a drier area at the corner of my piece of land. Constructing two houses cost me KES40000 as I needed both the kitchen and the main house. I also bought a sack of maize at KES4100 for my household to stop the perennial visits to the market where had been buying daily in smaller quantities. With the remaining amount, I ensured that every member of my household gets a new pair of clothing as it has been a long since we got a chance to change our wardrobe."

"School fees payment for my children had been the most challenging task I have had over many years. With a family of five, I still have three sons actively schooling at the moment. I am glad that my elder son is currently able to pay part of his school fees as he secured a job and had been studying over the holidays. My second son has been home since 2019 when he completed his diploma course due to the lack of finances that could have enabled him to commence his degree level. With this transfer, I decided to put aside KES50000 to pay his school fees as he now has an admission letter to the Kenya Medical training college. he has been patient enough and this moment should not pass him. With the remaining KES4700, I managed to obtain household foodstuff and new clothing for my younger children."

"As old as I am, I believe receiving this money will help me buy some fertilizers for the next growing season so that I harvest enough food and do not have to starve anymore. I also intend food since I didn't harvest enough during the last harvest season due to lack of money for fertilizer which affected my maize yields"

"Receiving this money is a blessing to me because i will now be able to have a house which i have always wanted. I want a beautiful house with ironsheets and i know i will now be able to buy ironsheets. I will use about k100 000.00 to rennovate the house. I also want to use the other part of the money to buy maize for food. I want to buy at least 5 bags of maize which would cost about K50000"
