How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes i have new goals that i didn't have before receiving this transfer, apparently I'm improving the house i live in and also finishing my other house i started building a year ago.I never had these plans but with the coming in of Give Directly i saw an opportunity to do this.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion everything that GiveDirectly did went pretty well there is nothing to complain at all.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have used my second transfer to buy house building materials since its under renovations so i bought ironsheet, Timba and windows.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
You will never believe how happy I was. I was actually working in my farm when I heard some women nearby dancing and shouting with excitement that they had received the money. Unfortunately my phone was at home. I left everything I was doing and ran home. I got my phone and actually saw the msg from Givedirectly. I almost fell down with excitement. The feeling was amazing.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life will definitely change because I never thought that I would ever have this amount of money in my life. I am now able to have and buy things for not only myself but my family.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I am planning on improving and renovating my house. I would love to have it plastered and also raise the roof a little bit so most of my money will go towards that. I also need to put in doors on all the bedrooms.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am excited and greatful to be amongst the beneficiaries of this money, it will help me to start a new business so that I shouldn't fall a short of money as it is the case now, I will save the remaining amount of money just in case anything happens at any point in time
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am usually happy in the afternoon hours of the day because it is usually the time I find food for my family, otherwise in the morning hours, it is always a worry for me if I might have food for that particular day.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have been facing hunger from time to time at my household, that is why I need the money so that I should have food and clothes , I shouldnt be in deep poverty, I thank the people who have made it possible for us to be in line of benefiting from this money,I personally don't take it for granted
