"Receiving this money means clean water for home consumption. Currently I live in a grass thatched house that cannot enable me to harvest rain water for drinking as what we fetch from the river is not safe and sometimes we get diseases such as typhoid. I will use KES 25,000 for purchasing building materials and cost of labour in order to build two-roomed iron sheet house. After which I can buy 3,000 litre water storage tank to harvest water for future use.I will not feel embrassed again borrowing water the from community. For the rest of the transfer, I will buy a dairy cow."

"Paying for school fees for my son in secondary school is an uphill task. This is because in the last season I only harvested five bags of maize from which I earned KES 8,000 from selling four bags. This was not enough to pay for school fees and was left with arrears. He has missed his studies for days due to school arrears. I feel bad about it hence financial constraints is the biggest challenge."
