Jackline
received a $418 initial payment.
"Since I received the first transfer, the most significant change in my daily life has been the acquisition of two heifers on my land. I spent $420 to purchase them, in addition to paying for my daughter's school fees and all the necessary equipment for her to join Form One. The financial stability that the transfer brought is something I am grateful for, and I hope to accomplish even more with the subsequent transfer."

"Living in a pathetic condition has always been a great concern to me. As I receive my monthly transfers for this year, I hope to accomplish the goal of building a new house. It will save me from extreme cold conditions during rainy seasons. A situation that is always costly for me in terms of seeking medication. Once I succeed in this, I also hope to begin a livestock-selling business, it is quite rewarding during festive seasons."

Mercy
received a $418 initial payment.
"Receiving confirmation of the first transfer was a joyous moment for me, one that I shared with my husband, Emmanuel. We were both at home when the message arrived, and we couldn't contain our excitement. Unfortunately, it was already 4:00 pm, so we were unable to collect the money on the same day. However, we made plans to get to the nearby town the next day to withdraw the funds. The anticipation of accessing the money made our evening a delightful one, and we could hardly wait for the next day to arrive."

Kang'ombe
received a $26 thirteenth payment.
"Since I am a single mother and I do not have a job to rely on except for burning charcoal, I am always worried about how to raise school fees for my children. With the monthly transfers, I hope to focus on making monthly fee payments to avoid the accumulation of arrears. It will keep my children in school so that they do not miss much from the class. I hope to accomplish paying their fees by the end of the year, hence they will have ample time in school to catch up with their classmates."

Riziki
received a $26 thirteenth payment.
"My goal is to start a business that offers sales of vegetables because I lack a consistent source of income. That will make it much easier for me to raise more money to support my family. As a result, I will have no difficulty raising the cash I need to buy food and cover my children's education costs. I will achieve financial freedom once my business starts to do well and I start to see consistent income flow. Consequently, I will stop taking small debts from the neighborhood because doing so has always deprived me of my peace."

"My main goal is to expand my current tailoring business. I have a shop but I find it a bit squeezed and I would want to expand it so that I add more machines and stock to increase the profits and also be one of the known tailors in the area. Therefore, I want to continue saving $15 of my transfers and by the end of the year, I shall have accumulated the amount that would help me with the expansion and later buy more machines and employ more employees."

Jumwa
received a $26 thirteenth payment.
"My main goal is to start a livestock-rearing project. Owing to the fact that I currently do not have an income-generating activity, and getting money to feed and educate my children had been quite a challenge. I would want to venture into the project of rearing chicken and goats on large scale. I, therefore plan to save $20 of my monthly transfers and after two months, I buy at least two goats and a few chicks to keep the project going. I believe that the project would have a long-term impact on my family because I would still have it even if the transfers come to a halt."

Karisa
received a $26 thirteenth payment.
"My main goal is to expand the current poultry project that I have. I want to construct a nursery and buy 15 layers to add to the project so that I would be supplying eggs within the area to to boost the income from the sales of the other chicken. To achieve this, I plan to save part of my monthly transfers and I would be setting aside around $15 every month to help me start the side project and I believe that the income from the entire business would be of great help in terms of educating my children and I would never be stressed even if the project comes to an end since I would be having a source of income."

Thabu
received a $26 thirteenth payment.
"My goal is to start a livestock-rearing project. I plan to buy goats with part of the transfers that I would be receiving where every month. Later, I would sell part of them and buy cows that would be helping me out during cultivation because currently, I struggle a lot cultivating a two-acre piece of land without using any simpler method something that had been so tiring. I also want to improve my house, currently, I live in a mud house, but my wish had always been to have a permanent house, but due to the financial challenges and the inability to afford a permanent house, I would want to change it to a semi-permanent house. Therefore, I also plan to save part of my transfers so that by the beginning of next year, I would have some amount to start off the construction."
