"My goal this year is to grow this business. I started as a grocery stall owner but even when I realised it wasn't the best time to sell groceries I was able to use my transfers and the profits from the grocery business to transition. Selling General, day to day use items is a lucrative business so you will definitely not run out of business and items to sell. I want to add more things to the business from my transfers."

"Lack of reliable job is the challenge I am currently facing in life. I do subsistence farming relying on my husband to get job and pay school fees for the children. He has been at home for four months now without any job. My son who is in secondary school was sent back home two weeks ago due to school fees and also the family has no food as for now."

"Food insecurity and water scarcity are what I am currently experiencing in my life. Our area has experienced prolonged drought for the past 4 consecutive seasons until this year, we are blessed with rain. The lack of rain made me suffer a lot because my husband is jobless and I depend on my 2 sons who are casual laborers. In addition, I have a problem with my spinal cord which has complicated my life because I can not stand upright. At home, I am required to take up household chores like collecting firewood and fetching water. These tasks altogether make my life miserable because I always feel so much pain after doing them. What a life!"

"The boredom of staying alone at home is basically what has robbed away my joy. This is because my family members stay away from the village. Since I am single, I lack someone whom I can share stories with especially during the evening hours. This has pushed me into feeling desperate, a situation that can expose me to depression. Being alone also has rendered me seeking job outside home because of the worry about theft. Therefore, the lack of a partner has made my life so difficult."
