Grace
received a $451 second payment.
"I am healthy and happy because part of the cash transfer was spent on my treatment. Before I received the cash transfer I was stressed and full of sorry most of the time.
I am very happy because I dress decently and I am respected in the community. More so I am now debt free after clearing an old loan which was an impediment to me because I had provided my land as collateral."

"I expect to start a small scale business such as starting a shop within the village which will add more income to me and my family. I used to run a shop business in the past but it collapsed at some point so I think this is the best time to revive my business."

Miria
received a $451 second payment.
"I was renting my retail business premises and this was draining my income.
However when I received the cash transfer, I decided to spend it all to purchase this plot of land.
I am now happy and will never worry about paying rent anymore because I am now a land owner."

"I will have my own house which means I will have moved away from this rental house which will be a big step in my life. I will also plan to keep some domestic animals such as goats which I will rear within the home which is much easier than keeping the animals in a rental house."

Mary
received a $451 second payment.
"My life has changed alot compared to the past before I received the cash transfer. I was suffering alot with not enough money to provide for my family.
In addition to this, we were living in a leaking overcrowded house and with no hope of getting a nice house. I recall at one point there was too much downpour and all my food stuff got rotten because of the leaking house.
I am very grateful for the cash transfer that has enabled me construct a nice two roomed house with a store to keep my food stuff safe during rainy season."
