"GiveDirectly has enabled me to purchase a cow. I have been much stressed on whom to get milk from to feed my children. Finding a farmer who would be willing to sell milk to me was difficult. This is because they prefer delivering it to the processing plant at higher prices. Currently, I milk my own and used it for consumption in my house and then sell that remain to the processing plant."

"I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have finished paying school fees for my child. I will then start saving the money I would have otherwise used in paying school fees and use them to buy a goat. When this goat will have increased in number, I will be selling them one by one in order to use the money to pay college fees for my child so that she can further her studies. I value her education most because it is through it that she will be assured of a brighter future. I am sure that the knowledge she will gain during her studies will enable her to make wise decisions in life."
