"I hope to get a bumper harvest from my farm in the next six months. With the good seeds and fertilizer that I am planning to use, I know this will be possible. I will then be able to sell some of the farm proceeds and raise enough money to comfortably pay for my children's school fees and save some for my house enlargement plan that I hope to achieve by the end of this year."

"My life is currently better after receiving the transfer. Earlier before receiving the transfer, My mother used to sponsor my child's education. I have a son who is in secondary school. She does tea plucking jobs which earn her little money but she used to spare some of it to pay my child's school fees. It usually broke my heart seeing her struggle to pay my own child's school fees since I had no financial capacity to do it. Getting the transfer has enabled me to pay for my child's school fees. This has eased the burden on my mother's and I am much happier. I have even supported her by paying my sister's school fees. It gives me joy that I can now stand on my own courtesy of the transfer."

"I am a casual labour. I work at a white man's plantation more than 10 kilometers away. Every day, I wake up at 4:30 am to prepare breakfast and lunch for my children before taking on a two-hour trek to my work station. I would later come back late in the evening exhausted with the idea of repeating the same the next day. All this hectic routine thanks to a harsh climatic conditions in our area that has seen crops fail to germinate every year due to lack of water. The wages I get at the end of the month is spent repaying debts I had accumulated throughout the month. There's nothing left to safe since I still have to pay fees for my three children. It's even harder given the fact that am a single mother. This is the biggest hardship I've faced in my life."
