Wilson
received a $23 fifteenth payment.
"The next six months will hav changed my life because we are to start saving in merry go round among my family members only. This is an arrangement whereby my children are the only ones involved. This is done with the aim to boost our completion of any projects that any of my children will decide to engage in with ease because we are pulling the resources together. Personally, I am impressed by the response they gave to my suggestion and this saving initiative is kicking off this month."

Kanze
received a $544 initial payment.
"I was previously sleeping on an old traditional bed with mats which were not comfortable at all. Through the transfer from GiveDirectly, I was able to acquire a new wooden bed and a mattress to replace the old bedding. I now sleep comfortably unlike before the transfers. To me, this is the biggest difference in the daily life I have because of GiveDirectly transfers."

Aggrey
received a $495 third payment.
"My life is currently different from the way it would have been had I not received the transfer in that I wouldn't be having a good income to sustain my needs and to save too. This is because I used the previous transfers to start up a boutique business. I'm happy I'm self-employed, have a reliable source of income and I'm earning a good income."

Joyce
received a $495 third payment.
"Previously, my retail shop which is my only source of income didn't have a variety of products to sell and this earned me minimal income. I, therefore, used the whole of the third transfer to boost my retail shop business by adding stock to the shop. I'm glad I earn good profit from it and I can monitor its growth on a daily basis. This makes me happy because the fear of it collapsing is no more."

Philister
received a $23 fifteenth payment.
"Currently, I do not have a dairy cow and I spent a lot of money on buying milk for use per day. After my child has cleared high school in the next few months, I would start saving to buy a dairy cow. This shall enable me to get milk for family use and also sell the surplus to earn income."

Silvia
received a $495 third payment.
"My life is currently different from the way it would have been had I not received the money in that I'm now self-employed. This is because I used the previous transfers to open up a salon business by renting a premise and buying equipment where I get an income to sustain my financial needs. I do not struggle anymore as I used to. The little I get is enough to meet my daily demands and I know for the future, I will develop the business and will help me and improve my financial status."

Zeddy
received a $544 initial payment.
"The biggest difference in my daily life is poultry farming I started using part of the transfer. We primarily depend on casual jobs to earn a living as a family making our income unpredictable and unstable. We are some days forced to forgo basic commodities-soap, cooking oil in our family to spend the little we could earn on food. I had always been stressful and ashamed of failing to meet my family daily needs. When I received the transfer from GD, I bought ten hens that have assisted me in my current daily life. I have eggs from my chicken to sell to meet other family petty needs and also for household consumption. I am so happy currently I no longer have to get daily basic items on credit like before when my debts had to grow on a daily basis. I sometimes currently have something to save for future financial needs and also find it a pleasure to see my hens multiply hence giving me hope of a better future."

Maurine
received a $495 third payment.
"Without GiveDirectly, My life would still be so hard because I would still be relying on casual jobs to meet basic needs. The robust motorcycle taxi business that I immediately started has changed my life. It is a very reliable source of income form which I can even save a good sum on a daily basis. The financial ability is only possible after GD come to my aid."
