Joel
received a $22 fifteenth payment.
"I expect my life to change over the next six months in that I will be more food sufficient than I am right now. I plan to invest more on horticultural farming and savings from the sales from this farm. Considering our age, it means that we cannot do more of investments except to make sure that we are always food sufficient and have enough food to keep us strong and healthy whole year round. We are so grateful for the transfers that we are receiving from GiveDirectly whole year round."

Janet
received a $22 fifteenth payment.
"My expectation in the near future is to build a permanent house. Currently, both of our houses are mud-walled. Maintaining such a house is so straneous since it has to be smeared and maintained regularly. Considering there are other farm activities that need to be done, this usually takes a lot of unnecessary time that would otherwise be used in other activities. This will also mean an improvement in cleanliness since the mud floor and walls have a lot of dust."
