"In my opinion, GiveDirectloy does well by offering permanent solutions to our long-time problems. Everyone in my village now has a decent house, our children are studying without any disturbances, we own livestock. This was as a result of being helped financially and allowed to utilize the money according to our heart desires."

"I am very happy to be included in the programe, as you can see my child has been down for some months now, we have tried to go to different hospitals around but to no avail. I will use part of the fund to go to Mangochi with my child so she can get expert medical attention. Further I want to use part of the fund to extend and renovate my house with my husband."

"In my opinion, I can confidently admit that GveDirectly did a splendid job in my village. This is becasue each one of us was allowed to go for whatever he or she would wish to purchase. This made some of us to different assets in our households and it has made us proud."

Kashutu
received a $493 second payment.
"I spent my second transfer to finish off the construction of my house by purchasing timber, nails, 15 iron sheets for $160, and spend 80 dollars to pay for labor charges. This is because I did have enough money to purchase the roofing material need. Also, I purchased comfortable beddings for myself, previously, I use to sleep on a traditional bed without any beddings. The remaining amount I paid school fees for my child who is in class 5."

Mahenzo
received a $493 second payment.
"I spent part of my second transfer on buying livestock which includes goats. It has always been my dream to own them but I could not afford them because they were quite expensive and because of my low wages I couldn't afford them. In addition to that, I had to clear the huge fee balance of KES 31000 for my son who is in his third year. He is no now studying comfortably without the worry of being sent home to collect fees as he used to do. Also, I brought enough food and decent clothes fir for my children and I to replace the oldines that were not in a pleasant state at all"

"In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well in giving out cash grant to poor households in our village
Most importantly, I am happy for being part of the beneficiaries. Also, the independence of the organization was a good decision because there is no government influence which reduces a lot of corruption."
