Ambrose
received a $492 second payment.
"When I received my transfers, I decided to buy a second hand motorcycle worth KES 45,000. To will enable me to ease my movement around while going on with my daily activities. I operate a small business whereby I buy tea leaves from the factory on retail and supply them to different shops in the county. I was able to start this business using the amount that remained after acquiring the motorcycle. Because of this, I no longer walk around the neighborhood searching for some work to do."

Paul
received a $492 second payment.
"My life is different because I am now a proud owner of a dairy cow and some goats. This would not have been possible had I not received the transfer. Before buying the dairy cow, I would on average spend KES 1500 monthly on milk. I am now glad that this will not be the case very soon when my cow reproduces. Also, I also have some goats that I can easily sell when faced with financial challenges."

"I spent KES 30000 from my transfers to buy a heifer and two goats for rearing. I settled on this so that I will have some income when they reproduce. Buying the heifer will also enable me to save the money I would otherwise use in buying milk when it calves. Also, these are assets to me that I can depend on in case of financial crisis. In addition to this, I spent KES 7000 on clothing's and KES 3000 on food and other household necessities for my family. Using the remaining, I cleared the debts that I owed different people so that my mind would be at peace knowing that I owed no one anything."

Enock

"My life is different than how it would have been had I not received the transfer. This is because I have been able to pay dowry for my wife. Due to this, my relationship with her family has improved. Also, In was able to start a poultry project using part of my first transfer. Because of this, I am optimistic that I will be able to meet most of our needs on time when they start laying eggs."

Recho
received a $492 second payment.
"When I received my transfer, I spent around KES 22000 to build a spacious house for my family. I settled on this since the one we were living in was small and could not accommodate us comfortably. Also, I used KES 24000 to pay school fees for my children who had been sent back home. I am now glad since they can now concentrate on their studies without any disturbances. Using the remaining amount, I bought some clothes, food and other household necessities for my family."
