"In the upcoming year and beyond, I aspire to acquire a parcel of land to serve as a grazing field for our cows, as the current land we have is limited in size. To achieve this, my husband intends to secure a loan from his employer. Despite this goal, we remain grateful and satisfied with the progress we have accomplished thus far."

"As I mentioned earlier, I have saved $10 monthly for a local savings group that I am in. I have a big goal that I hope I will be able to achieve. I am working towards starting a business. I hope to put up a local general shop using my savings. The business will require about $20 to start and I hope to be able to get here through this savings. I want to be able to contribute to my family's finances to ensure my children have access to education and proper nutrition."

"As I said earlier, I have a small business selling local pastries but I would like to expand the business. I have approximated that with at least $300 I will be able to start a roadside food stall which will be able to meet the needs of different clientele notwithstanding the meal time. I also believe the expansion of this business will increase my income greatly allowing me to take my child through school and also provide for other basic needs such as food and clothing without a great struggle as it is at the moment. If I also can have money to spare I will add the number of animals I own to ensure that as they grow I build on my investment."

"We have been experiencing such a long drought but now the rains have begun pouring. I hope to go back to farming and farm for as long as the rains are here. I want to buy vegetable seedlings and plant vegetables for sale. These will be able to allow me to make some money to make payments for my children's schooling as well as buy food for the home. My husband is an animal herder and he does not make much from this hence having a source of income will relieve his financial burdens. I also hope to add some more animals to an emergency fund. Having animals means they will reproduce and can be sold when money needs arise"

"I want to see my children coming up brighter in life. Though I'm working hard to support them all.But I do hope they will someday take me from this village to the city upon their graduation from university to live my dreams as a struggling father who has been there for his children."

"Upon receiving the transfer. I started talking to the mason that was supposed to start building my house. I spent 293 $ on building my house and spent the rest on food and clothes. My house is now standing strong and I am waiting on LS2 to the finish. I am so thankful to GD; I never pictured myself in my own house."

I used to have a cattle but I lost everything to a disease that was in our village. I had always dreamed of owning livestock again and I am happy that I am slowly but surely getting there."

"I hope to accomplish raising poultry and livestock. Since I am a single mother and my child is barely two years old, I know that this is the most viable investment I can afford to start. I also aim to raise some money for buying new clothes and bedding. The ones I currently have are old and uncomfortable to use. I have used them for so long, and they are no longer presentable. A new set of clothing will contribute towards improving my presentability."
