Kenga
received a $26 tenth payment.
"I'd love to purchase a brand-new motorcycle so that I can resume delivering charcoal and other products to Mariakani market on a daily basis. I can no longer use the bicycle I've been riding for the past few years because it broke down. I'm currently taking care of the livestock for my family while I wait to save up the necessary sum through my monthly transfers. Getting the motorcycle will solve my problems, enable me to support my family's basic needs, and enable me to earn a living."

Zosi
received a $26 tenth payment.
"Owning a sizable herd of livestock by the end of this year and beyond will be my greatest achievement. This will be a substitute source of income for me since I can no longer work on the farm due to the dry weather. In an emergency, I will have a backup plan since I can sell some of the livestock and use the proceeds to take care of my issues."

Omar
received a $26 tenth payment.
"My biggest accomplishment and goal for the year is to facilitate and create a positive environment for my children to pursue their education and reach their objectives. I'm sure that spending money on my children' education will give them a bright future. It will bring me great satisfaction to know that they will live good, better lives than I do, and having a bright future for them."

Kahunda
received a $26 tenth payment.
"My goal is to have a sizable herd of livestock by the end of the year and beyond. I want to invest a significant portion of my transfer funds in livestock. Farming activities are not favored by the current weather conditions. This leaves farming livestock as my only remaining choice. When the herd is large enough, I'll start a livestock sales business and, with the money I make from that, I'll be able to live comfortably."

"Financial instability is the main challenge. I do casual jobs to earn a living and the money I get is not enough to meet the basic needs of my family. Casual jobs are also unreliable, sometime I can stay a whole week without any income forcing me to spend all my savings. This has hindered me from investing in an income generating activity."

Kauchi
received a $26 tenth payment.
"The construction of a lovely permanent home for myself will be my greatest achievement at the end of this year and moving forward. I currently live with my younger sibling, who moved out of my marital home a year ago. Once I finally build my own house and move in, I will be content and happy. This will ensure both my privacy and my son's."

Nyevu
received a $26 tenth payment.
"By the end of the year, I would love to have started a small kiosk business, but due to the hunger we are currently experiencing, this is proving to be challenging. As a result, I am compelled to spend my entire monthly transfer on purchasing food and water to ensure my survival. If things stay the same, I'd be content to save enough money to pay for the right treatment for my health condition. I'm now concentrating on starting a business that will give me financial security once my health gets better."

"Since I separated from my wife in 2020 over irreconcilable differences, I have never had peace of mind. She left with my two children and since then I have never set my eyes on them. My efforts to reach out to them.has proven futile and makes me feel like I have failed as a father as my children are being raised by their mother only. I hope that one day, I will be in a position to meet them and be present in their lives so that I can have the joy of fatherhood."

Said
received a $26 thirteenth payment.
"I hope to accomplish two goals in my life before the end of this year. First, I am going to remain focused on my farming practices. With adequate rainfall, I believe I shall be able to realize a good harvest hence we shall have a food supply to take us for some time. Second, I am figuring out how to build a new home. I have been living in a house a mud-walled, which has been expensive to maintain. I will be able to live in a better and more accommodating place once I have a new house. As a result, I will not be worried because my children will have a place to sleep at."

Diana
received a $26 thirteenth payment.
"For this year, I have two main goals starting a business and raising livestock. I hope to accomplish both by the end of this year. Currently, I do not have any source of income, I am planning to use my monthly transfers to execute those goals. But I am hopeful that if I succeed in that, I shall be able to raise some money post my transfer period. In addition, the livestock will be able to give me some supplementary income, I will no longer struggle as I used to in the past years."
