Jackline
received a $464 third payment.
"I have been bed ridden for quite some times which subjected me to a lot of financial challenges because I'm the eldest in our family at the same time I have children in school. It reached a point I couldn't afford my medication so when I received my third transfer I spent part of it on my medication. I used a larger portion on farming for consumption which is a way of food security and saved part of the money for emergencies."

Annah
received a $464 third payment.
"I spent my third transfer on completion of our house which was build using the second transfer. I then plastered it since in this place the soil is very poor which causes mud walls to crack easily , and in some instances the soil falls off from some parts. This necessitates frequent labouring to replace the fallen mud and repair the cracks. My family wanted a break from this exercise, to enable us get on with other aspects of our lives."

David
received a $467 third payment.
"I spent a portion of my third transfer on relocating to a new home far away from my parents' home. I purchased all building materials which I used in constructing a new 3 roomed house. I had began growing old with most of my kids married, meaning I had to vacate my father's home for my own. Were it not for this transfer, I am very sure I would not have afforded the relocation. Besides that, I paid school fee for my daughter in a boarding secondary school. I can clearly attest that the transfer has assured me that my daughter would complete her schooling with a lot of ease."

Francis
received a $467 third payment.
"I have been staying in a very squeezed house for a very long time. So when I received my second transfer, I started buying building materials that I added to some I bought using my third transfer and built a very spacious house. I also constructed a kitchen as we used to cook outside and when it rains we could squeeze in the small house and the smoke could be unbearable. The remaining I spent on buying two calves that in the future I will use for ploughing. Thank you GiveDirectly."
