"The biggest hardship that I am faced with is inadequacy of farm land. I am able to cultivate because of the good history I have created for my name. I am able to borrow a piece of land and atleast plant something that can support my family. However, this also comee along with it's own charllages for example some times I can chance to get a garden far a way from home. Transport alone becomes an issue and more so, people take the advantage of the distance and steal the yiels of the crops. There is no gain in this. "

"The biggest hardship that I am faced with is poverty. I am not able to provide all that is needed for a family. An example is the fact that I do not have oxen to support in the farming activity and yet it is very key in a village setting. When the season to do farming is due, the best I can do is to move round to do casual labour so as to earn some money in order to be in position to hire oxen and an ox-plough from those who have. This is never effective because there are delays involved. At the end of it all, poor yeilds and food shortage because the weather may not favour crop growth. "

"I have a house I had begun building but stopped half way because of finances. So the first thing I will do is to see that I complete the construction of that house so that me and my family get better accommodation. The price of thatching grass is high because its scarce so the ironsheets house will save us money we spend on grass. I will also pay back a loan I borrowed from someone so that I regain my piece of land I had staked as collateral."
