Caroline
received a $510 second payment.
"In my opinion GiveDirectly does well by giving money to the poor in the community to build better houses and to buy dairy cows. I do not find anything that GiveDirectly did not do well."

Weldon
received a $493 second payment.
"I spend part of the money I received from GiveDirectly on Sofa set seats, I build a house using the previous transfer but I had purchased the seats. I also spend part of the money on food and clothes for my children. The rest of the money I bought an ox and spare parts and repaired my motorcycle. I am so happy because now I can do my motorcycle taxi business without it breaking down like before."

Winny
received a $493 second payment.
"I spend the money I received from GiveDirectly to fence my farm
This is to prevent the neighbor's cows from destroying my crops. I also spend part of the money to buy clothes and food for my family. Finally I bought a heifer. I always buy milk daily and this is so costly for me. When they heifer reproduce I will nlcut the cost of buying milk daily. I am so grateful for the support because GiveDirectly has improved our living standard."

"I spend part of the money I received from GiveDirectly to buy building materials ready to build a spacious kitchen house, I also used some amount to buy a heifer, I always buy milk daily and it's so costly for me. Finally I saved some money to pay school fees for my daughter who is yet to join form one this year. I am so grateful for the support."
