"My main challenge now is money. I don't have a good place to sleep most especially when it rains and I can't afford to buy books, uniform, bag, and other things which my children need for school. So doing business now with my transfer is my only hope."

"Hunger has been a challenge to my family since my casual job of security at the nearby primary school where I only get peasants and the burden of responsibilities of the family of five is not that easy. We sometimes go to bed hungry and this eventually affects our daily activities as well as health. I also have seeing problems for the last three years now. Due to lack of funds I can not afford the best optical check ups and treatments which has forced me to be struggling with the situation for three years now."

"Providing basic needs for my family is a big challenge. I depend on my small business of selling palm wine which is not reliable as I only get peanuts from it. My family of four members can not afford three meals a day and those in school have huge fees balance. This has affected their academic performance which I am afraid they will not get the best results in their final examination."

"My parents who are peasants farmers and due to the drought experienced in to the region, they have no reliable source of income hence they can not afford to pay school fees for my secondary education. This has affected my academic performance as most of the time I am out of school. Lack of food at home is also a challenge as sometimes we go to bed hungry."
