"In my opinion, GiveDirectly has been of great impact on my whole village. This is because the majority of us now own livestock such as goats, dairy cows, and oxen. This is still like a dream to us because were it not for the help of the organization, our lives would have not changed this much. We really thank God for the financial support from GiveDirectly because the majority of us have been able to construct permanent houses. The majority of us are now sleeping under iron-roofed houses which helps us in fetching rainwater. Previously we used to live in small huts that were very uncomfortable. We are now happy and grateful because we are now living in a spacious house courtesy of GiveDirectly. For those reasons, I fell that Give Directly is a good organization. I have not heard or seen any thing they have not done well"

"In my opinion, GiveDirectly has really been of great help to our village. We now have permanent iron roofed housed unlike before when most of the houses they were grass thatched and mud-walled houses. They were in a very poor condition but for now, everything has totally changed. Secondly, in my village, no one owned livestock, but when we received the transfers, the majority of us have now bought livestock such as cows and goats. I do not see anything Give Directly is not doing well. Since they came into our lives, there is only a positive impact on the lives of people they visited."

"The biggest hardship I face is inferiority complex. My spouse has not yet married me and we are not respected in te community. According to our culture, a man is expected to take cows in form of bride price to the girls family as a way of appreciation."

"The small amount which we have been receiving in bits from GiveDirectly has really brought a lot of differences in our current life. We used to produce a little amount of milk from our cows due to the insufficient feeds we were providing for our cows. We realized that our breeds were potential milk-producing cows and added the feeds which later resulted in some good results. In addition, we have been able to establish a business which is now running well and helps us in providing daily income for use in the family."

"I am generally living a happier life than I was living four months a go. The fact that I have been able to buy one dairy cow and planning to buy another one really gives me much joy. The monthly transfers that we get consistently has also enabled us as a family to eat healthy all the days of the month and raise a happy family. We are so grateful to GiveDirectly for the support that we are getting from them."

"When I receive this money, I will build an ironsheets house that is big enough to accommodate all of us. The house we are in currently is not in good shape, it was ivaded by termites and rats and the grass needs to be replaced frequently, which is costly. I will also buy some cows for diary and ploughing if at all there is some balance. This will help save our money that we spend on hiring ploughing services."

"The biggest difference in my life is that, I have bought cows that I intend to use for paying dowry for my grandson’s wife. Prior to receiving this transfer, I didn't have hope to pay cows for dowry much as my grand son had reached a stage of marriage. Furthermore, I am planning to plaster my house that had stayed for long without completion."
