"In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well in uplifting our lives which were miserable before enrollment. We have been able to provide for our families effectively, purchasing livestock as assets and most importantly, building better iron-roofed houses thus enjoying good shelter. I do not see anything that GiveDirectly does not do well."

"I feel so proud now that I am sleeping under a well plastered semi-permanent iron-roofed house. It has been my desire to construct one but due to the financial difficulties, I could not afford it. The coming of GD in my life has transformed everything in my life and I still can't believe this. Initially, I used to sleep under a small hut with some old grass roofings, which was ever leaking whenever it could rain. We used to seek some shelter from my relatives and it reached a time, we opted to stay in the hut because it brought some conflict with my relatives. it was so hectic. I am so grateful now and I am a happy parent as well because we no longer have to worry about the rains and also the security."
