"The biggest hardship I face is uncertainity when it comes to farming. Being a small scale farmer I depend so much on the produce that comes from my farm for sale to get an income and even food . When there is drought and when pests invade my farm, my productivity becomes low and that means little income on my side. "

"The biggest hardship I currently face is lack of enough money to pay school fees for my children. Our main source of income is rain fed subsistence farming but this is often not enough to cater for their school fees. If I am unable to raise the required fees they may have to defer their studies and this will really demoralise them."
