How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago because l am now able to till my farm with ease I do not need to use money to till my farm as compared to before. I am also cultivating my farm at the right time and getting enough produce that I used not to get before.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a new goal of starting a business of hardware but it is very unfortunate that I am not able to start it because of lack of capital being that I have spent all the money that I received from give directly. Although I can sell some of my cattle to start the business.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that l am able to till my farm with ease as compared to before when I had to hire people's cow which could take too long before they work on my farm and it was also very expensive. Sometime I would go as far as using my own hand to till my farm and that is not the case now. I am now able to plant on time that usually leads to high production, which is always enough to sustain my family for a longer period before next planting season.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months I expect to have sold some of the cattle and started my dream business. I know it will not have picked up but at least it will be something which is running already.

I have a new goal of purchasing some oxen for ploughing my farms.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different than it would have been had I not received the transfer in that, I am able to sit on very comfortable sofa sets that I never expected in life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next months, I expect my life to be more smooth and enjoyable. With my new oxen, I will no longer suffer from tilling my farm manually. I will also be able to plough other people's farms at a cost and generate some income for my family.

The biggest difference in my daily life is the happiness I developed when I managed to add some livestock in my herd. I feel so happy whenever I wake up in the morning and admire the full herd that I currently own, courtesy of Give Directly.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am facing in life is unreliable source of income. The painting skills that I acquired is facing stiff competition from latest technology that render us irrelevant and jobless most of the time.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in evening when I get paid for casual labor and buy food for my family.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend the transfer in starting up a small business. This will form part of my reliable income that will enable me provide for my family including paying school fees.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is training as a painter through apprentice. I am able to offer the skills and as well bargain for payment. I am happy for it has formed my source of income.
