"I spent my third transfer on building a decent spacious newly iron sheet roofed house which accommodates my family members comfortably and having this house gives me a peace of mind as I can harvest rain water from the gutter hence accessibility to clean water has been enhanced as opposed to before the transfer when my previous house was grassed thatched and leaky .I also paid school fees for my child who is in high school."

"When I received my third transfer, I had plans of financing my spouse to pay my dowry but since I was expectant, such a thing could not happen. We therefore opted to invest the amount that was meant for the same in livestock. We purchased a total of 10 goats with intentions that we would sell them to purchase cows for dowry payment. In addition to that, we purchased 2 donkeys to help us collect water from the lake. I resided in a very dry area where water was a very big challenge. People walked several miles in search for water which created a very big advantage for those who owed donkeys since they could easily use them to collect water from the lake and supply the entire village. My donkeys were therefore purchased to not only supply me with water for my own consumption but instead be used commercially. I am happy that I am able to collect some amount of money from the water supply come the end of the day."

"I used the last transfer to build a small kitchen bought sofa set seats and table I did this because I can remember well when the team from Give Directly came I had no way to welcome them even offer a seat because I had none even utensils to offer a cup of water it was so embarrassing but I now have bought utensils with the transfer."

"It's very good to see that my living conditions and and standards have changed. Formally, I was sleeping in a leaking semi petmanent house but Givedirectly through my first transfers had enabled me to buy cement to renovate the house I was sleeping in.
