Jane
received a $22 twentieth payment.
"My new goal is to build a bigger poultry house. Currently, I have a small poultry house and since the number of chicken is increasing at a good rate, there has been a need to build a bigger house. This will also allow me to continually expand my poultry project."

Decla
received a $22 twentieth payment.
"My new goal is to buy a chain wire mesh for fencing around the poultry house. I have been losing some eggs to predators and also my chicken would destroy neighbour's crops. This has compelled me to put up a fence to prevent losing eggs and chicks as well as avoiding conflict which may result from the straying chicken to people's farms."

Anna
received a $22 twentieth payment.
"Since I started receiving transfers from GD, I invested in poultry farming and through this venture, I have been able to pay my bills. In the last four months, I have been spending part of my cash on buying feeds for the chicken. In a day I collect approximately 10 eggs which translate to KES 150. This amount is enough to meet my daily basic needs."

Alice
received a $22 twentieth payment.
"I expect my life to have changed in the next six months because I will be using the transfers to run a grocery business. I also hope to have bought some chickens that may be another source of income through egg production. The income I will be getting from grocery business and poultry keeping will sustain us. I also know my son will be going on well with his education because I will be paying school fees on time using my transfers stating form January 2020. I expect to be successful in these many ways in the coming six months."

Weldon
received a $535 initial payment.
"When I received my first transfer, I spent part of it to start a poultry keeping project. I was able to buy 50 chicken and two sacks of chicken feed as a way of starting this project. I settled on this since it is something you can rely on in case of an emergency. Also, this project can run smoothly alongside other projects. Buying milk has been my routine and it is always costly. Due to this, I decided to buy a dairy cow worth KES 25000 using my transfer. When it reproduces, I will be able to save the money I would otherwise use in buying milk. Also, I will be able to earn an income through milk sales. I used the remaining amount to buy for myself some decent clothes."

Rebecca
received a $22 twentieth payment.
"My new goal is to buy a chain link for constructing a poultry house. I got some chicken which I rear on a free ranch and more often they stray to neighbour's farms and destroy their crops and this has resulted in conflict. I am thinking of finding a lasting solution to this by constructing a structure to confine them so that I would no longer have a conflict with my neighbours."

"My first priority is expanding my poultry farm when I receive this money.I will start by fencing a portion of my compound using mesh wire to ensure the chicken are contained hence well taken care of.I will add 20 indigenous chicken to the few that I have.My second plan is buying a dairy cow which will cost me not less than Ksh.30,000(300 USD).I depend on my children to get milk for consumption because I cannot afford to buy my own.I am now very happy because I can also sell the surplus milk and satisfy my own needs instead of depending on my children."
