"At the moment I am grateful to GiveDirectly for enabling me and my family to see the success of the plans we had right from the enrollment. I feel much satisfied with all that I have done after a huge investment in livestock and the construction of a new house. I don't have any new goal at the moment but working hard to see the progress in rearing the dairy cow I have to ensure a plenty production of milk in the future." "I have a plan to construct a shop and start a business. This is what I had planned to do before I got my second transfer. I was however not able to fulfill the plan because I, unfortunately, got involved with my brother in a motorcycle accident and hence I spent the whole of the second transfer on medical expenses. I have a motorcycle that I bought with my first transfer. I hence usually do the business of transporting people and goods from one place to another. Having recovered, I plan to continue with the motorcycle business and raise money for starting the shop business. This business is what I had always wanted to do but I was not in a position to start it due to a lack of money. I used to work as a security guard at Nairobi but I had to leave the job because I fell ill and hence I came back home. The money that I used to make it at the time, most of it used to go to the payment of school fees for my brother who was in college."
