Daniel received a $428 second payment.
"When I received the second transfer, I used most of it to purchase dairy cows. Together with my wife, we are farmers and this has been our main source of income since none of us is employed. We went to the market and got two fat cows which cost us $460. Both cows produce at least two liters of milk daily, which we sell at the dairy shop. We use that money to buy food and other basic needs for the family. I have five children, but only one is currently left schooling the rest have their own families. I also bought a pump worth $20 and some livestock medicines for $10. With the remaining $40, I replenished food stuff that would last us for a month."

"I had already planned how to spend the money before receiving it. I aimed to invest in livestock specifically cows. This idea came after seeing a neighbor who prospered in livestock farming. When I withdrew the money, I bought two cows for $330. As the investment slogan states, "think big, start small, start now", I opted to start the livestock journey with the two cows. Thereafter, I kept $150 for my daughter's college fees. For the remaining amount, I opted to construct a small house for my grandson who lives with me. As of now, I am very happy to see the achievement I accomplished. Starting an investment and paying college fees for my daughter is something that has given me great peace of mind."

"Before the transfer, I had a business selling second-hand clothes. In day I would make $15 a day, I have rented a space at the market. Unfortunately, my husband got sick and most of my profits were going to medical expenses. I closed down my business to focus on my husband's recovery. We lived in a one-roomed house with my three children. Receiving this transfer has enabled me to expand my house to a two-roomed house that is comfortable for all of us, bought two cows that I eventually plan to use for farming, and paid school fees for my children."

"The most significant difference is that the transfer from the organization offered me an opportunity to better my life. Due to financial constraints, I was able to purchase a dairy cow, which had previously seemed impossible. I will be eternally grateful for the help that has improved my life."

"The biggest difference is that I bought a dairy cow. I no longer buy milk on a daily basis for our consumption. I am optimistic that I will be able to save money and increase milk production in the future. I am grateful for the funds that enable us to raise my living standard."

"The most substantial change in my daily life is that I am now able to purchase a dairy cow. This means that in a few months, I'll be able to save the money I used to spend on milk. Second, a heavy burden was lifted from my shoulders because I cleared up a pending debt. I'm happy and fulfilled with the accomplishments I've made."

"The most noticeable difference is that the organization impacted our lives. This is because I was able to purchase a dairy cow and a goat, which would have taken a long time to save up for. Furthermore, I am confident that I will be able to build a decent house once I receive my second transfer because I have saved some money. I am overjoyed and grateful for the support that has significantly improved our standard of living."

"The presence of a dairy cow on my field, as well as a well-constructed fence around the grazing field, has made the biggest difference in my daily life since my first transfer. Restraining livestock while grazing is no longer a problem because all gates to the field are lockable, allowing me to complete other tasks while my cows graze. I am grateful for the assistance and optimistic that I will soon have an adequate supply of milk from the 7-month in-calf cow that I purchased."

"I am a single mother of two and had been working hard on casual labor and subsistence farming on a small piece of land owned by my parents to make ends meet. Since they could not live without a glass of milk, the cost of buying milk for my two children has been overwhelming. Even though I had a cow, the dry seasons were difficult, so I decided to purchase another heifer with the $220 from the first transfer. I also spent $80 on a sack of maize, which we are still using for food at the moment. I also needed better lighting in my home, so I spent $95 on a wet battery that I later connected to the solar panel to facilitate charging and lighting all of our rooms. I am relieved that I no longer have to charge the emergency rechargeable lamps that I was previously using. The remainder was spent on clothing for my children and a portion on Christmas festivities."

"Receiving this money mean a lot to me because I will be able to buy 1 cow for milk at a cost of USD621 and also buy a piece of land in a safe place for settlement at a cost of USD135 after I have tried up some money. This will help to improve on the cost of living of my life and my family because where am staying now is very risky because it is a disaster prone area."
