What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
Receiving this money mean a lot to me because I will be able to buy 1 cow for milk at a cost of USD621 and also buy a piece of land in a safe place for settlement at a cost of USD135 after I have tried up some money. This will help to improve on the cost of living of my life and my family because where am staying now is very risky because it is a disaster prone area.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What brought me joy in the last 6 months is when I harvested my onion that I had planted on 1 acre piece of land and i was able sale it and got USD 621.
This money helped me to clear some school fees for my children and also bought some food for my family and this brought me much joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenges am facing currently is high School fees payments for my 6 children, who are in different levels of classes at Arlington primary school. One child is in P.7, one in P.6, P.4, P.2, P.1 and the youngest in nursary, each child is paying USD54 per term totaling to USD 324
for the 6 children which is very hard for me because I don't have a stable income that may earn me such an amount to clear fees for my children.
When it cimes to feeding it is also abig challange because i dont have enough to feed my children, this is because my garden was affected so much with flash floods and the harvest was very poorwhich in the long run has caused hunger in my family in the way that I dont have sufficient food fir my family.
