What does receiving this money mean to you?
If we are successful to receive the cash transfer, we will go back to school and complete high school. Like me, I am in 11th grade. But due to the death of my parents that were supporting me , I was forced to drop from school. And since my return to our home for over 8 months now, it has been very difficult for me to raise money and go back to school. The coal we produce to sale and raise money to provide food for the home and keep some for medical and school fees, the coal work is very expensive these days. That is, we paid people to cut the sticks. We also credit from our. business partner to be able to speed up the works relaxing to the same coal production. . As the result, we go into too much debts. And like that, we don't earn more money after all these deductions during the sale of the coal. So, if we receive the money, that will be a great help for my to complete high school while my partner continues here education too.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Yes! Like in September, we were very happy because during that time we sold good amount of bags of coal that enable us to buy one bag of 25kg rice that we ate for that month. That make us happy as a family. That's because with out food , happiness may not be in the home.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The major challenge faced by us here is how to raise money to provide for the home and continue our education. I considered money as a major challenge because it is very difficult to get here. And with out money, we wouldn't be able to implement our education plan as mentioned above. Although as I said earlier, we more coal here to earn money. But the money is earned from the sale of the coal is not enough to settle our financial challenges facing us here.
