What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I am successful to receive the cash transfer, I will invest into business here. It has been my long time plan to invest in business but I have not been able to raise money for that The coal we produce here to sell and earn money from , the price has dropped. Besides, it is too expensive these days to engage into coal production. Moreover, for me and my spouse, we don't just cut sticks from the Bush to burn and produce coal from out of it like what others can do. We brush where we want to make farm, cut the trees down and burned the sticks for coal. But for last years, because my mother was sick, we did not make farm. Thereby making us to not produce coal. As the result of this, we couldn't not earn money to implement the business plan and other activities. So, when we are successful to receive the cash transfer, that will be a blessing for us to implement the business plan.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Yes, as long I have life and I am well in the body, I am very happy for that. I am most time happy because in the migst of the difficulties to provide food for the home, we have never gone with hunger for the whole day without eating. Although in this year my mother and big brother died. However, the Bible said we all will died and leave the face of the earth. So that was their time to go. Yes, it hurts when it happens, but nothing I can do about it.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The major challenges for me and my family here are: how to provide food for the home and how to raise money to invest in business. I considered food and money as the major challenges because these two are difficult to get here. The coal we produce for sale so as to be able to provide food for the home and and keep some for business purpose is a very difficult work to do. Because of that, my husband said he is not able to produce it regularly. As such, the money we can earn from the little we can produce occasionally can not keep us up for long time.
