How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goals have not changed since my enrollment in the GD programme. Every year i struggle to buy fertiliser to use in my farm. The subsidy programme does not carter for everyone but this year i bought fertilizer i did not even wait for the subsidy one i bought my own fertilizer at a normal price with GD money

Thanks to Givedirectly and there is nothing they do wrong
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my money to buy bags of Maize for food, fertilizer and also saved some of my monry to improve my house when the rainy season ends

What does receiving this money mean to you?
The money will mean a lot to me, as you can my house is not complete. This money will help me in finishing the floor of the house as well as buying blankets for me and my grand children whom I stay with. I do no t earn much, I depend on farming and cause of old age I don't work much meaning I earn less therefore this money is a relief.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part in my life the past 6 months is when I sold chickens and got money that I used to buy clothes and backets that am using to store water. I was happy because I sold the chicken at high price I got about MK 10000 after selling 4 chickens.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The problem that I am facing currently is sickness, I have been sick for a while. I have had flue and cough now and then and this delays my daily work.
