How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
For a long time I have always wished my family to be food secured but due lack of money to buy fertilizer, it was not possible for me to harvest enough maize for us for the whole year, so after receiving the money from Givedirectly I took the opportunity to buy fertilizer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I think Givedirectly practices are very good and helpful to us, everyone in this village has received the assistance from Givedirectly and we are all very happy and appreciative
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
So the most of my transfer from Givedirectly has gone to farming, i bought fertilizer, seeds, house furniture and food because I did not harvest enough food last season so the food that we had was not enough.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was supper excited when I received my transfer. It was like a dream come true. I have never had such amount of money in my life.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life is full of joy nowadays because I am able to eat food which is nutritious. I will also fulfil my dream of building a house, a thing which could take me ages to do so.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have managed to buy Iron sheets and hired labor. People are also moulding bricks for me. My plan is to build a house because the house I am living in, leaks during rainy season. I will find comfort in the house that I am building because the house will be roofed with iron sheets. I also bought food because I didn't have enough food for the year. I have also saved the remaining amount of money so that I can support my day to day needs.
