How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I'm now healthy because I acquired adequate treatment. Before, my health with deteriorating because did not have money to purchase the expensive drugs the doctors could prescribe.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
According to me, GiveDirectly has done well by giving me the transfer for plastering my house which was dusty and access treatment. GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have spent my transfer to purchase building material for plastering my house and building pit latrine ( bricks,sand, cement, nails) worth 480,000, labour worth UGX 320,000, treatment worth UGX 340,000,transport worth UGX 40,000 and school fees for my grandchildren worth 450,000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, my house is now looking good and I now feed on a balanced diet.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my transfer, I felt so happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfer, I bought three bags of cement, one trip of sand worth 124,000ugx. I paid tuition for my grand children worth 500,000ugx. I bought a mattress at 120,000ugx in order to improve on my living conditions. I bought two doors worth 240,000ugx to fix on my house, paid for nails and labour worth 30,000ugx and 75,000ugx. The balance of 581,000ugx, I want to use it for treatment.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This transfers I intend to use on treatment. I have terrible ulcers that need aurgent treatment so this money will assist me a Lot.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest moments is always in morning after waking up healthy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is lack of money to help in treatment of ulcers.
