What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought a cow of $400 because I wanted to get manure from it. I also bought Goat and Pig from the first transfer
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I was poor and it gave me livestock that I am relying on. There is nothing bad that GD has done from my view
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I want to be developped from the livestock that I bought so that I will be self supporting in coming days

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I live by working for others in order to get food for me and my 3 children which is challenging and I don't have enough land of my own to produce enough for our survival. It requires me to work harder every day as i have to always work for others in the morning and then try to rent a small land which i work in in the evening for us to have enough food.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I was fortunate to get my own cow in the past months as I was herding it for others and now it has became mine and it is helping me a lot because it gives me organic fertiliser to use and I was able to get support from the government which they gave us modern stoves and solar panel which is helping me out in these days as my 2 children who are in school are able to revise in evening after classes and i can be able to provide food for my family without struggling to get firewoods everyday.
What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
In the first installment I am planning to buy a goat for 40$ and a pig for 60$ and i will be buying Clothes and school materials for my children , I am also planning to rent a land for 40$ as i will be searching for one to buy for my own. In the second installment i am planning to buy a cow for 350$ and the balance i will save it and use it in some needs that will be occcuring in the future. Receiving this money means moving forward for the better in my life as it will be helping me come out of poverty and have a better life because i will have enough food from my harvest and my kids will not suffer from any hunger.
