What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Getting old is my greatest challenge, i live by seeking help from others because i don't have any energy to work for myself. I receive support from the government which is not enough, i have to seek support from my son Callixte to help cultivate my land and be able to produce what to eat. I often get sick and to be able to go to the hospital i have to be carried by my children or neighbours because the roads are broken we don't have access to emergency vehicles.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Being able to benefit from the government support program that helps old people in my village gives me courage and helps me out in my life. Another event that brought me happiness recently is that my daughter Floride who is married have recently sent me some clothes to wear and this brought me joy because now I have a clean look.
What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
The first installment i plan to buy livestocks, i want to buy a cow for $300 and i want to buy beds , food , clothes for myself and my grandchildren that i currently live with. The second installment i plan to renovate my house , buy other materials that i need in my house and the balance i will save it and use it in my future. Receiving this money means having someone who wants my development, i will be able to live better and be able to fulfil all my needs without needing support from others.
