Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I just woke up from bed when the message came on the phone I immediately took it to my brother to see what was it, he told me is the money Givedirectly talk about. I was so excited about the money, I began walking up and down singing and praising God for givedirectly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Since I got this payment from Givedirectly things has improved for me because I no more worry about where to get money for building a house, building house has been my greatest challenge. All through I have been farming, I couldn't afford to buy a bundle of zinc but I can buy more than a bundle. Thanks to Givedirectly for helping me.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought four bundles of zinc, 100 pieces of planks, one cartoon of nail and some food stuff for the house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
What I plan to do with my cash transfer are, firstly, to build my own house within this town, where I stay currently is my brother's house, when my house bursted and broke down he decided to shelter me. Secondly, I want to have my own farm as well, over the time it had been my brother who had helped me with portion of his farm to survive on.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What brought me happiness in the last six months is, one of my relatives felt sorry for me and brought me cash to purchase a lapper to tie, this brought me so much excitement.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Those challenges I'm currently faced with are, "One", raising money to build my own house is a serious challenge, since my husband died, things hadn't been easy on me, and worse of it all, my house got broken down, this had brought serious setback, I'm aging and my leg can not permit me to do hardwork. "Two", getting my own farm is another challenge, in the sense that, the money I raise from selling kola nuts, pepper and other vegetables aren't enough to feed my home, purchase a farm land for farming, and pay laborers at the same time; things are so had these days.
