How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am a struggling young man who lives in an old thatch house . Farming had been my major source of living . Getting to generate money in this village is challenging. I have been finding means to build new house but couldnot succeed due to hardship . The new goal I have set before receiving this transfer is to pay back debt I owed in saving club .Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. I have used some of my transfer to purchase one brand new Tvs motorbike for business. I believe that with my motor bike business, I will be able to generate more money to build new house in the future for my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly is actually helping to change our lives in this village through cash support. Givedirectly cash support has helped more people in our village to build zinc houses, while others are investing their transfers in to making businesses. Everything Givedirectly is doing in this village is okay and doesnot need improvement.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spend my most recent transfer to pay back debt I own from a saving club. I have purchased one brand new motor bike from my transfer and is currently running in traffic . Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. Givedirectly cash transfer had impacted my life positively and I believe that with Givedirectly kind gesture, my dreamed to live better life in this village will soon come to pass.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My top priority is to see my daughter attending a very good school. I also dream of building a new house for myself. Providing money to support my daughter who is staying in Monrovia with my elder sister, has been my greatest challenge. My new goal is to transfer my family to town by june this year while I be staying in this town and be making farm to support my family. My children have always dreamed of living in the city to be like other city children. I couldn't send them to town because there was no enough money. Through Givedirectly transfer i my children will have a great future. I'll like to plant coffee for future investment for my children. I'll also want to establish an organization in honor of Givedirectly. The name shall be call Givedirectly youth empowerment inc. I bought a motorbike which is on traffic the money i get from bike, i can put it in susu every Friday after i take it, my family will move to Monrovia and setup a business for my wife.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, the good things that Givedirectly has done for me are many but few will be listed. Through Givedirectly transfer i have zinc and plaster my house. I was also able to get two bike because i always joined susu with my transfer. The bad things that Givedirectly has done which i think is bad is, they don't allow people to appreciate them.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The recent money i received from Givedirectly, was used to pay some of my daughter tuitions. I also used part of my transfer to buy one used bike from my friend. The balance money was used to buy cement to plaster my house.
