How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My plan is to get my own house. My wife and I have been renting for the past four years. Palm cultivation has been the only source of livelihood for me. My dream was never met, because there was no money to implement it. I also want to live a good. However i will open a shop for my wife to start selling.

Givedirectly is doing good in my life. They don't accept any form of bribery from recipient. Through Givedirectly transfer my life has Change.I have earn something good for myself. Am happy to be part of this program.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My prime objective is to build a house for my family. Though i don't have children, but sooner or later i will have to start making children. I survive on palm cultivation and cassava production. I have suffer for so long especially renting in someone house while my mates have houses of their own.Due to the lack of money i couldn't afford money to build a house for myself thanks to GiveDirectly for giving me the chance to achieve my goal. I'll like to invest in palm farm and also open a business for my fiancee in order to keep our money growing.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done so much good for me especially in my daily life since i started receiving money. I woke up with joy and smiles on my face everyday of my life. This program is very transparent it is developing the lives of many people in the country.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was on my way going to the farm when my phone alarmed. After reading my text, i decided to go strict to Buchanan to cash out my money. The joy was just too much for me. I got the money brought it home to my wife, before she telling her that it was Givedirectly that send me this money. She almost collapsed upon hearing the good news. Life has been so hard for me since i decided to settle down with my wife we could bear afford money to pay our house rent. Receiving this money has brought total joy to me.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since i started receiving money from Givedirectly is there's peace and happiness in my house and my wife can now prepared meal three times a day for me. Since we became husband and wife, we has never lived a stress free life. My sole purpose is to build a house of my own as a man but, we couldn't afford money to build a house not even to talk about paying rent regularly. Farming and cutting contracts from people has been my source of income. Through Givedirectly transfer i will have my own house and my wife will be doing her own business to sustain our family. What does receiving this money mean to you?
As a grown-up man who still residing in his uncle house with his spouse is not only embarrassing,but very shameful that I have been thinking on saving money from cutting palm to build my family and I a house to dwell in. I have been living in my uncle place for so long the fact I have no means of acquiring extra money from my palm cutting for saving as the little proceed gather are use on family food . Having received the unconditional cash transfer from GiveDirectly , my spouse and I will undertake a house project that had been on our mine for so many years .
What is the happiest part of your day?
I was so happy in recent time when I was lucky to cut close to ten heads of palm in one day . And that is the time that always brought joys to me each day I am successful in getting heads of palm which is the means of accumulating finance.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The proceeds from my palm cutting are so limited that it couldn't even take care of my spouse and I... Processing the palm to get oil has been a real challenge because palm trees are very scare in our environment that you hardly accumulate ten bundles a day ... I have been cutting palm to continue my school since I dropped from school and it has not really been fruitful.
