Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I intend to invest heavily in farming being that it is my main source of income and my family entirely depends on it.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
As a farmer, I used to employ workers to help me in the plowing and wedding of my farm every planting season. This was costly and sometimes return on investment was negative. So in the past four months, I decided to purchase a pair of oxen that will be assisting in the plowing process. This will reduce labor charges and increase revenue.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I will have planted and now I will be waiting for my farm produce. Given that I had reduced the cost of labor I expect a good return everything else held constant. With the returns, I can now actively engage in other investments.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My wife and I agreed to boost our business in the near future so as to be able to generate more profits that can keep the family going. The more capital we have in place, the more goods we will be selling out and the more we will be to get from the business venture.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I can say that the biggest difference I have seen in my daily life is the ease with which I pay school fees for my kids without straining or having to sell out my farm yield in order to get some cash. I am happy because I can now stock food for future use which means that people will not have to go hungry.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
Once the business will be up and running, we will be generating profits on a day to day basis. The advantage of having this business in place is that we will be able to take care of any financial emergencies and daily family needs.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from the way it was four months ago. I have made a lot of progress and I have been able to achieve much in the last four months. Some of these achievements could take more than a year before realizing them. But through proper planning with the transfers I receive from GiveDirectly I have managed to do wonders. I really thank God for bringing this organization to our area.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
At the moment I can't say that I have any additional goal until I discuss with my spouse on what we can achieve in the next four months. I don't want to start something that might bring conflict at the end of the day. In fact, The GD transfers have brought us closer and in most cases, we work together to achieve our goals. We rarely worked together previously but that has changed ever since we started receiving this help.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life preceding the current transfers is that I am able to live within my budget and meet most of my needs. I like the fact that GiveDirectly is consistent with the dates they send us the money. One can always predict and plan ahead. Having hopes that at the end of every month I'll get some money has enabled me to manage my transfers well. Initially, I used to live without plans because I didn't have a stable job which made it difficult to predict the amount to plan with.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
Currently, I do not have a cow and I buy milk daily. This is expensive because I do not have a reliable source of income thus making it difficult to afford it. Therefore, in the next six months of my life, I expect to have bought a cow a dairy cow. This will not only me save me from the daily expense of buying milk but also earn me income from selling some liters to the neighborhood.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is the pride and peace I have because I managed to purchase a bag of corn.
