How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different now because I was able to build my house. Though not gully complete, I am confident that soon I will shift from the grass thatched house that I am currently using and I will be relieved from the issue of renovating my always leaking grass thatched house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have a house that I had started constructing but the I never managed to complete it because I ran short of money. So when I receive this money, I will make sure I complete the construction of the house so that I can shift into it because it is bigger compared to the current one I'm living in. This will help decongest the house because its bigger. I will also use part of the money to buy household items like good beddings, chairs, tables, good utensils and other items.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I wake up healthy. This keeps me in a good mood as I start my day's work.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is lack of enough money to cater for the basic needs like school fees, proper medical care, clothing and many others. This has depleted the little savings I have living me with almost nothing.
